The westbound 401 has been reopened at Odessa after being closed for nearly 18 hours following a serious crash with multiple injuries.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to a three vehicle collision which included a motorcycle shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
“One vehicle contained five occupants,” Constable Brianna Raison said in a media release. “Three of the occupants were transported to hospital, one with serious, life-threatening injuries. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.”
The sole occupant of the other passenger vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Raison said.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
The westbound lanes of the 401 were closed for nearly 18 hours but were reopened on Monday afternoon around 3:15 pm.
