CFB Trenton aircraft to conduct flyby at Camp Bucko

By Brock Ormond Aug 11, 2025 | 4:43 PM

Two Royal Canadian Air Force planes from 8 Wing CFB Trenton will be part of an anniversary celebration tomorrow.

Canada’s Ministry of National Defence says a CH-146 Griffon and a CH-130J Hercules will conduct a flyby over Camp Bucko in celebration of their 30th Anniversary near McArthur Mills, Ont.

The aircraft will fly over the event at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle on their route.

Flybys by RCAF aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety and are dependent upon operational requirements, and weather flying conditions.
