One person charged following incident at hospital in Bancroft

The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged one person following a complaint at the Quinte Health North Hastings Hospital.

On Sunday August 17, 2025, shortly after 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person being belligerent at the hospital in Bancroft. When officers arrived, they observed damage that had been done to the building.

As a result, Sarah JACIW, age 27, was charged with mischief.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on October 7, 2025.
